About Pacific Vision Foundation

Pacific Vision Foundation was established in 1977 to support and maintain a century-old tradition of excellence in eye care treatment, education and research in the first Ophthalmology Department to be established west of the Mississippi, currently housed at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Today the Department’s training program and faculty are ranked among the best in the country, and every year thousands of men, woman and children are referred to the Department’s clinic and faculty practices for help with serious eye diseases. Patients come from every conceivable background and every corner of the globe.

Pacific Vision Foundation (PVF) proudly funds research and educational activities including the Department’s residency training program, fellowships in specialty eye care and the ongoing professional education of the Bay Area community of ophthalmologists and other eye care providers.

Pacific Vision Foundation is a charitable non-profit 501(c)(3) and contributions are tax deductible.
